CTRF and Students
CTRF is committed to supporting the growth and development of the next generation of transportation sector researchers and professionals, with a focus on the Canadian transportation and logistics sector. In addition to the many students who participate in the annual CTRF Call for Papers and Conference, CTRF offers direct support to students through two targeted programs: Scholarships for Graduate Study and a Student Paper Competition.
For all competitions, CTRF encourages students to apply and submit work in either English or French.

Student support for the Halifax CTRF 2026 Conference!
CTRF is committed to supporting the development of the next generation of transportation researchers and professionals, through our Scholarship and Student Paper Competitions. We also recognize and appreciate the investment that students make to participate in CTRF Conferences.
This year, CTRF will provide $250 prizes to several full-time students attending the Halifax Conference. The number of prizes will depend on the level of sponsorship secured prior to the conference. If you are a full-time student, have registered for CTRF Halifax 2026, and wish to be considered for a prize, please email info@ctrf.ca with your name, university, and the subject line “Student Conference Support” no later than May 1st, 2026. The draw will take place during the Conference.
