Trevor Hanson
Trevor Hanson, P.Eng has been a faculty member in Civil Engineering at the University of New Brunswick since 2011 where he teaches courses in Transportation Planning, Transportation Policy, Civil Engineering Design and is Coordinator of the UNB Transportation Group. He started his career in Transportation Policy at the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure in 2004 following his completion of his MScE before returning to UNB in 2007 as the Albert and Ena Stevens Research Fellow while completing his PhD. He has authored numerous reports, papers and articles on topics including older driver safety and mobility, age-friendly community transportation, volunteer driver programs, and active transportation. At CTRF, he has served as Councillor and VP Meetings. In addition to CTRF, Dr. Hanson is also a member of the AME50 Accessible Transportation and Mobility Committee at TRB, a member of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) President’s Task Force on Accessibility, a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), and the Intelligent Transportation Systems Society of Canada (ITS Canada).
